Market Monitor Pro Setup Guide

Market Monitor Pro installs on MetaTrader 5 the same way you would install an Expert Advisor.

Important: although it is installed like an EA, Market Monitor Pro is a scanner only. It does not place trades automatically.

It runs on an MT5 chart and monitors supported markets from there.

Already Know How To Install an MT5 EA?

If you already know how to install an EA in MetaTrader 5, the process is simple:

  1. Copy the Market Monitor Pro file into:

File → Open Data Folder → MQL5 → Experts

  1. Restart MT5 or refresh the Navigator panel.
  2. Drag Market Monitor Pro onto one chart.
  3. Turn Algo Trading on.
  4. Enter your email, licence key, and MT5 account number.
  5. Click OK.

Market Monitor Pro should then load on the chart and begin scanning.

You only need to attach it to one chart.

Then continue with the beginner steps you already have:

Step 1: Download Market Monitor Pro

Download the latest Market Monitor Pro file from the download page.

Download Market Monitor Pro

Once downloaded, keep the file somewhere easy to find, such as your Downloads folder or Desktop.

Step 2: Open MetaTrader 5

Open MetaTrader 5.

Make sure you are logged into the MT5 account you want to use.

For your first test, use a demo account.

Step 3: Open the MT5 Data Folder

Inside MT5, click:

File → Open Data Folder

Then open:

MQL5 → Experts

This is the same folder used when installing a normal MT5 Expert Advisor.

Step 4: Add the Market Monitor Pro File

Copy the Market Monitor Pro file into the Experts folder.

Then close and restart MT5.

Step 5: Find Market Monitor Pro

After restarting MT5, look at the Navigator panel on the left side.

Open:

Expert Advisors

You should see Market Monitor Pro listed there.

If you cannot see it, right-click inside the Navigator panel and choose Refresh.

Step 6: Add Market Monitor Pro to a Chart

Drag Market Monitor Pro from the Navigator panel onto any chart.

You only need to attach it to one chart.

Market Monitor Pro can monitor the supported markets from that one chart.

Step 7: Enable Algo Trading

At the top of MT5, make sure Algo Trading is turned on.

This allows Market Monitor Pro to run.

Important: Market Monitor Pro does not place trades automatically. It only uses the MT5 EA system so it can run as a scanner.

Step 8: Enter Your Access Details

When the settings box opens, enter your Market Monitor Pro access details.

This may include:

  • Email address
  • Licence key
  • MT5 account number

Then click OK.

Step 9: Check That the Scanner Is Running

Once loaded, you should see the Market Monitor Pro panel on your chart.

The scanner will monitor supported markets and show signal colours:

Green = strongest setup conditions detected
Yellow = setup forming or worth monitoring
Grey = no clean setup detected
Red = poor or risky conditions

Important Note About EA Installation

Market Monitor Pro is installed like an EA because that is how MT5 allows tools to run on charts.

But it is not an auto-trading robot.

It does not open trades.

It does not close trades.

It does not manage your account.

It only scans the market and displays information.
